Free Advanced Placement eBooks from Kaplan


For a limited time Kaplan is giving away 130 of its ebooks for free to users of iPads, iPhones, iPods, Nooks, and Sony eReaders. Included in the list of titles are books for most Advanced Placement courses including US History, Biology, Statistics, Calculus, and more. In the list of titles you will also find test prep books for the SAT, GRE, PSAT, GMAT, and other standardized tests. The books have to be download using one the the devices listed on the Kaplan Free eBooks page. This offer expires January 10th so don't wait to act.

The moment you have been waiting on

Tech Site Updates- If you haven’t been to the site recently, it has a new look.  There is an alphabetical index on the bottom of the page to hopefully help you find the resources you need quickly.  Mrs. Gossard’s class is featured using Green Eggs and Ham Dr. Seuss App.


1. iPads

  • Added-How to download an app, How to download an eBook, How to connect a wireless keyboard
  • Elementary iPad Cart- Added screen shots of each page (math, science, social studies, language arts, general) with descriptions of the apps.  You should be able to pull this up with your projector and quickly show students what app you want them to go to.

2. Second Grade

  • Added Math Lingo game and other geometry resources

3. Google Sites

  • Page Created with tutorials on how to add a page to your site and how to insert an image

4. Common Core Standards

  • Separated the Math Common Core by grade level so that you can look at Math for just your grade level.  This is done K-12
  • Separated the ELA Common Core by grade level.  Grades K, 1, 2, 4 done. 

5. Math

  • Circumference added and Updated
  • Perimeter added and Updated
  • Updated- Addition, Division, Money
